Bronze Bell from a Horse's Harness

Title

Bronze Bell from a Horse's Harness

Subject

bell, bronze, harness, horse, Africa, Nubia, grave_good

Description

This was probably an ornamental bell that was a part of a harness or saddle blanket that was buried with the horse. It is small and smooth without much decoration itself. The grave in which it was found had four total bells that are similar to each other and only contained half of the horse. The other half of the horse was found in a nearby grave with some more bells.
